Retired Admins

Retired Admins are the greatest that SoftSlayer has had to offer. They rose through the ranks, claimed the top prize, and stuck around long enough to leave a lasting impact on the great legacy of SoftSlayer.

As a thanks to their service and time on SoftSlayer. They've been granted a forever-rank that basically gives them the same powers as an eMod, with absolutely none of the responsibility.

Retired Admins

BillPMC

Bill began his SoftSlayer journey on a different server before SS even existed. He migrated over from Don't Fear The Creeper with Verboseone and never looked back. His time as an Admin was spent leading the Survival Dungeon department and whipping up incredible ideas and building literally everything (obviously.)

Bill is one of the few Retired Admins that is still pretty decently active within the community. You'll find him mostly playing Hytale these days...

corababy20

Cora joined SoftSlayer right at the beginning. She's credited as one of the server's Founders, helping NINJ4 and Goatman445 leave Sacred Labyrinth and create SoftSlayer.

Nobody was more loved and cherished during their time on SoftSlayer than Cora was. The server would simply freak out when they saw that corababy20 had joined the game. She was extremely personable and truly took the time to make each and every player feel loved.

Once in a blue moon she'll get the Minecraft urge and hop on for a few weeks. If you see her, don't miss the opportunity to say hi!

DKPhantom97

DK joined SoftSlayer during the early parts of the famous 1.2.5 Map. His Greek friends joined up with JHodges and Loganhaha1 to bring their clan FBI to the top of the leaderboards. As Admin, DK helped out mostly behind the scenes helping the team take care of plugins and fix anything that JHodges easily broke (he was just learning cut him some slack.)

He currently goes by DK_sv and continues to game, though not so much in the Mincraft world.

Goatman445

Credited officially at the founder of SoftSlayer, Goatman445 has truly earned his rank as Retired. He left Sacred Labyrinth and created what turned out to be the greatest Minecraft Server in the History of the world.

Goat came back a few times after giving ownership over to Verboseone and possibly regrets a few of his actions. But time has passed and hard feelings have been let go. Goat is still cherished here amongst the active community.

jmds225

jmds is one on the two Retired Admins that never actually held Admin rank on SoftSlayer. His time as eMod was so long and well done that he was granted Retired Admin status anyways.

He joined SoftSlayer with his lifelong friend PoliticalFishrag and climbed the ranks with him, battling and parkouring all along the way.

He's still somewhat active and will hop on to complete some of the latest parkours!

Loganhaha1

At the age of 11, whilst watching a random 300-view youtube one day, Logan found a server that he thought would be great for his first multiplayer experience. SoftSlayer welcomed him and the rest is history. He brought on his brother, JHodges, and the two dominated the clan world with FBI.

Logan was the youngest chat mod in history at the time (age 12) and spent the majority of his time PVP'ing and Raiding. As Admin, Logan built epic builds, helped out the everyday player, and built famous parkours.

Logan will tell you that he never wanted to retire. He was forced into it.

Natnater

Nat lived and breathed SoftSlayer during his time as both player and staff. He was the first person to tell you hello, and the first person to wish you farewell. Nat joined SoftSlayer basically on day one of it's existence and left his mark and then some.

When Verboseone stepped down as owner. Nat and JHodges both co-owned SoftSlayer for the better part of two years. Eventually life took priority and Nat had to step down and leave SoftSlayer. His time as Admin was spent trying to bring science into minecraft. If he's remembered for anything within the current community. It's his Science Parkour.

NINJ4

NINJ4 was the magical glue that kept SoftSlayer together during the early days. His knowledge with both websites and server management puts him right at the top of "maybe the most important person to ever admin SoftSlayer."

Players from those days will simply remember that they loved NINJ4, even if they don't remember why. Nobody hated NINJ.

Eventually he did a weird thing and became a doctor so he lost time for Minecraft.

Oobles

Oobles, known then as Obliviatorness, was one of the most hardworking Admins SoftSlayer ever had. He began his Adminship right before Verboseone stepped down, and did a fantastic job helping out Natnater and JHodges as they stepped into their co-owner roles.

Oobles was known for his building and people skills. But he didn't ban Austen137 for XRaying JHodges even though he 100% totally did XRay him so perhaps that's what his legacy truly is...

PoliticalFishrag

Fish was the other Retired Admin to never actually be an Admin of SoftSlayer. He joined with his friend jmds225 and, yes, you read this before, they rose the ranks together and became wonderful and lengthy eMods.

Fish was a fantastic builder and solid PVP'er. He dabbled in parkour and could rollback grief like nobody else. Someone once was quoted as saying "He rolled back my grief nicely."

Verboseone

The great Verboseone was once Owner of SoftSlayer. He came over from Don't Fear The Creeper and easily proved himself to the then-admin team. When Goatman445 stepped down as Owner, he gave the server to Verb. Verb is remembered by those who played with him as a massive troll.

If you see Verb on these days (it's rare) you'll believe those who remember him as a massive troll. Because he is a massive troll.

SoftSlayer truly wouldn't exist without him.

YoukaiRuler

YoukairRuler, now MintLeafMage, was a loved figure as Admin of SoftSlayer. Youkai is the most recent joining member of the Retired Admins rank (but we're still talking 2014~.)

Youkai was a great builder who enjoyed interacting with the community. Her one true love was stalking people and banning them for xray.
