Lorebrary

The Lorebrary is a new addition to SoftSlayer that aims to give players yet another opportunity to unleash their creativity.

All players with access to the Creative World (civ+) now also have access to the Lorebrary.

Type /warp lore to access the Lorebrary!

Using the unlimited inventory of creative mode, you can use the /itemname and /lore commands to add flavor and spunk to any item. These commands are only usable in the Lorebrary.

/itemname

A real shocker to all, but /itemname is used to change an item's name. Whoa. It's use is as simple as can be:

  • /itemname [name for item] - Changes an items name.

You can use color codes (including hex colors), bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and magic.

/lore

The lore command has slightly more to it, but it's basically the same. /lore is used to add lore to an item. Subcommands are as follows:

  • /lore add [lore for item] - Adds a line of lore to an item

  • /lore set [#] [lore for item] - Replaces a line of lore on an item on the designated line.

  • /lore clear - Clears all lore on an item.

You can also use color codes (including hex colors), bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and magic.

Useful Tips

  • Using the website Birdflop, you can create beautiful gradients with easy to paste in color codes!

    • Bonus tip: If you can't fit it into chat, increase the amount of characters-per-color.
